The Lafayette County Sheriff's Office Communication Center serves as the communications hub for all emergency services in Lafayette County. Communication Officers are responsible for answering all 911 calls in the county as well as several Sheriff's Office administrative lines 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They serve as the dispatch center for Lafayette County Sheriff's Office, Lafayette County Emergency Medical Services, and all Lafayette County Volunteer Fire Departments.
