The Lafayette County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit is comprised of three Deputy Sheriff / K-9 teams. The LCSO K-9 Unit currently has two Labradors and one German Shepherd who are trained in the detection of narcotics. LCSO K-9 Deputies work with their K-9 partners on their regular patrol shifts, functioning as full time Drug Interdiction Units, in addition to maintaining a constant training schedule.
